All delegations of the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) and the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) that were previously detained at Ketziot Prison have been released from Israeli detention facilities,” said GPCI Media Coordinator Harfin Naqsyabandy to reporters on Thursday (21 May 2026).

This was conveyed by GPCI based on confirmation from the Adalah legal team and international diplomatic sources. The volunteers are currently on their way back from Israel.

“The delegations are currently in the process of deportation and repatriation out of Israeli territory via Ramon/Eilat Airport to Istanbul, Turkey,” Harfin said.

GPCI said the Adalah legal team is continuing to monitor closely to ensure all activists, including Indonesian citizens, can exit safely without further delays.

GPCI said the Global Sumud Flotilla volunteers reported experiencing various acts of violence and inhumane treatment during detention, including beatings, use of tasers and rubber bullets, humiliation and harassment, forced painful positions, with several victims suffering serious injuries requiring medical treatment.

Adalah legal team emphasised that all interception of vessels on international waters, civilian kidnapping, arbitrary detention, and violence against humanitarian activists constitutes serious violations of international law.

Furthermore, the situation remains dynamic. The legal team, diplomatic channels, and international networks supporting the Flotilla will continue to monitor the repatriation process of all delegations.

“Please keep the best wishes that all delegations, including Indonesian citizens, arrive safely and in good health soon,” they said.
