GP Al Washliyah Pledges to Support Prabowo's Programmes for Public Welfare
Jakarta - The Al Washliyah Youth Movement (GP Al Washliyah) has expressed its full commitment to overseeing the running of the government and ensuring the success of President Prabowo Subianto’s strategic programmes.
“GP Al Washliyah is fully committed to supporting the leadership and all work programmes of President Prabowo Subianto for the acceleration of national development and public welfare,” said Aminullah Siagian, General Chairman of the Central Executive Board of GP Al Washliyah, in a statement in Jakarta on Monday.
The commitment was conveyed by GP Al Washliyah during its national working meeting on 12-13 July 2026 in Jakarta, which was attended by approximately 300 participants from across Indonesia. The forum served as a space for organisational consolidation as well as a momentum for drafting strategic recommendations to support national development.
In addition to supporting the government, Aminullah also stated that his organisation is ready to synergise with the Indonesian National Police (Polri). He supports the policies of the National Police Chief, General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, in maintaining national security stability.
“We also fully support the National Police Chief in maintaining security, public order, and law enforcement in the country. Al Washliyah Youth is ready to be a strategic partner of Polri to maintain the nation’s stability,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the GP Al Washliyah 2026 National Working Meeting Committee, Riduan Dalimunthe, revealed that the discussion points from the commissions will be formulated into the organisation’s official recommendation document, in line with the stated commitment. The strategic document will subsequently be submitted directly to the central government.
“Three days after the working meeting concludes, we will submit the strategic recommendations from this forum to the President of the Republic of Indonesia and the relevant ministries and agencies,” said Riduan.
The meeting participants consisted of various elements, ranging from students, youth, and regional to district-level administrators of GP Al Washliyah. The national working meeting was also attended by the General Chairman of the Al Washliyah Central Board, Masyhuril Khamis, and Police Senior Superintendent Ali Ahmad Mutiara, who represented the National Police Chief. Also present were members of the Al Washliyah Youth Legal Aid Agency and the Hawari Brigade.
