Govt told to get serious in legislation
JAKARTA: House of Representatives (DPR) Speaker Akbar Tandjung called on the government on Friday to pay close attention to the deliberation of the bills on presidential advisors and on ministerial offices.
The government, Akbar alleged, had often skipped meetings to deliberate the two bills, which were initiated by the House.
The House hopes to endorse the bills before it finishes its term on September 2004. -- Antara
