Govt to sell bonds on Aug. 24

JAKARTA: The government will auction Rp 3 trillion (US$324
million) to Rp 5 trillion of treasury bonds Aug. 24, Minister of
Finance Minister said on Thursday.

Boediono said he expects the yield to match that last month.

In July, the government issued Rp 3.5 trillion of treasury
bonds at a weighted average yield of 11.59 percent.

The government plans to raise a total of Rp 28 trillion this
year via the bond market to help finance the state budget.-- DJ
