Govt plans roadshow for bonds next year
JAKARTA: The Indonesian government will hold a non-deal roadshow early next year to market a planned- global bond offering worth up to US$2 billion, a government official said on Wednesday.
"We plan to market the bonds to several countries and visit two well-known international rating agencies, Standard & Poor's and Moody's Investors Service, for rating purposes," Anggito Abimanyu, a senior official at the finance ministry, told reporters.
The Indonesian government will determine the final date for the bonds issue - meant to help finance the state budget deficit - after the roadshow. The government has said that it expects to issue the global bond within the first half of next year. -- Dow Jones
