Govt needs 40,000 medical workers

BATANG, Central Java: The government will include about 40,000
medical workers among the 200,000 new state employees to be
recruited this year, Minister of Health Achmad Sujudi said on
Monday.

The recruitment of new medical workers would be conducted by
regional administrations.

Sujudi suggested all regents and mayors encourage medical
workers to provide better services and improve their education
