Governor: Ukrainian missile attack disrupts energy supplies in Belgorod
Moscow (ANTARA) – The city of Belgorod and the Belgorod region in Russia were targeted by large-scale missile strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, causing serious damage to energy infrastructure and disrupting electricity, water, and heating supplies, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on the Max platform.
“Belgorod and the Belgorod district were targets of large-scale missile fire by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to initial information, there were no casualties. The energy infrastructure facilities sustained significant damage. As a result, electricity, water, and heating supplies were disrupted,” the governor said.
The governor explained that a more accurate assessment of the extent of the damage would be carried out at midday.
All emergency services were on site, while information on the impact of the attack continues to be updated.
