Governor: Semarak Sulteng Nambaso Festival Unites Cultural Diversity

Palu (ANTARA) - Central Sulawesi Governor Anwar Hafid stated that the 2026 Semarak Sulteng Nambaso Festival represents an expression of gratitude as well as a stage that unites the diversity of ethnicities, tribes, and cultures in Central Sulawesi. He conveyed this during his attendance at the 2026 Semarak Sulteng Nambaso Festival event, which forms part of the series of celebrations for the 62nd Anniversary of Central Sulawesi Province, in Palu on Wednesday. According to him, the diversity possessed by Central Sulawesi is a social strength that must be continuously preserved through values of local wisdom, such as unity and mutual cooperation in supporting regional development. “This festival is not merely entertainment, but also a space to strengthen togetherness and reinforce the cultural identity of the people of Central Sulawesi,” he said. Although conducted in an atmosphere of efficiency, the event still proceeded vibrantly through support from various sponsor parties. “Even in an atmosphere of efficiency, our spirit to continue giving meaning to this 62nd age must not waver. We must still act and create amidst limitations,” he said. The Governor also emphasised the importance of collaboration between the government, society, and all parties in supporting various regional development programmes. As part of the event series, the Semarak Sulteng Nambaso Festival presents various activity agendas, including the Berani Talkshow, Berani Sehat and Berani Cerdas services, music performances, Public Service Mall, Creative Hub, and a Job Fair that opens employment opportunities for the community. In addition, two books titled “Berani Sehat: Menyalakan Harapan di Setiap Jiwa” and “Berani Berkah: Fondasi Spiritual Pembangunan Sulawesi Tengah” were launched.
