Governor Pramono and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Discuss Public Transport and Green Spaces

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya met with Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung to discuss a number of strategic issues, including strengthening the public transport system, developing green open spaces, and accelerating various strategic projects in collaboration between the central government and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

According to an official statement, the meeting at the Cabinet Secretariat building began with both officials greeting and meeting all Cabinet Secretariat staff. The discussions included the development of green open spaces and city parks, environmental management, and the strengthening of public transport systems through the MRT and LRT projects, which are being carried out collaboratively by the central and provincial governments.

The meeting also covered preparations for President Prabowo Subianto to inaugurate several national strategic projects located in Jakarta. Governor Pramono expressed his pleasure at being able to reconnect with former colleagues, noting that the discussions focused on developing green open spaces, strengthening public transport via MRT and LRT, revitalising areas, and accelerating various strategic projects in line with the President’s directives.
