Governor KDM donates Rp1 billion to Persib from cattle farming profits

Governor KDM, commonly known by his initials, confirmed that the bonus does not come from government coffers but from his personal funds. “To complete our happiness, I wish to share it. My cattle farming has yielded profits, which I am donating Rp1 billion to Persib Bandung. The donation will be presented on June 3 at the West Java Regional House of Representatives,” KDM said in a written statement dated 26 May 2026. KDM hopes the Persib victory parade will bring joy to all West Javanese. He stated that this achievement stems from the hard work of the entire club ecosystem, including managers, officials, coaches, players, Bobotoh Viking supporters, and all Maung Bandung fans. “Persib Bandung has fulfilled a major ambition throughout Indonesian football history by winning three consecutive championships,” KDM stressed. He added that Persib Bandung has demonstrated itself as a professional club without government interference. “I reiterate that Persib is a professional club without government interference. Winning without government interference is true professionalism,” he concluded.
