The Governor of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Hidayat Arsani, encouraged the active role of entrepreneurs in building a productive and sustainable business ecosystem to face global economic dynamics. He made these remarks while opening the 2026 Bangka Belitung Islands Province Regional Branch of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) Business Forum (FORBISDA) at the Santika Hotel, Central Bangka Regency, on Friday, May 15, 2026.

In his speech, Governor Hidayat Arsani stated that this forum is a strategic platform to strengthen synergy between business actors, the government, and various stakeholders in driving economic growth in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. “This forum is an important moment to strengthen cross-sectoral collaboration in facing the ever-evolving economic dynamics and challenges,” he said.

He emphasized that in the current challenging economic conditions, the role of young entrepreneurs is crucial as a driving force for innovation, job creation, and regional competitiveness. Therefore, the Governor appreciated HIPMI’s active role in building a productive and sustainable business ecosystem.

Furthermore, Governor Hidayat Arsani conveyed the Bangka Belitung Islands Province Government’s commitment to supporting a conducive business climate. This is realized through various policies that encourage investment, the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and increasing regional competitiveness.

“I invite all HIPMI administrators and members to continue to improve their capacity, maintain integrity, and play an active role in regional development. Let us together promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth,” he explained.

Governor Hidayat Arsani hopes that through FORBISDA, strong communication, collaboration, and partnerships will be established among business actors and stakeholders. In addition, the forum is expected to generate creative ideas and create new business opportunities that have a positive impact on the economy of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

The FORBISDA event, organized by the Bangka Belitung Islands Province Regional Branch of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI), was also attended by the Sumatra Coordinator of the HIPMI National Executive Board (BPP), Auni, and the General Chairman of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province Regional Branch (BPD) of HIPMI, Harry Hardianto, as well as representatives from the HIPMI branch organizations of the regencies/cities and other invited guests.

Meanwhile, the Sumatra Coordinator of the HIPMI BPP, Auni, said that this activity serves not only as a discussion forum but also as a platform for coaching and mentoring for participants, especially in developing business ideas.

“This activity is not just pursuing the organization’s internal agenda, but in this forum, we become mentors, including a business competition that focuses on developing business ideas into a mature, well-directed, and implementable plan, so that it can later bring pride to Bangka Belitung,” said Auni.

He added that through structured competitions and guidance, participants are encouraged to be able to transform ideas into real business opportunities that have high economic value and competitiveness.

On the other hand, the General Chairman of the HIPMI BPD of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Harry Hardianto, explained that the regional business forum is an important space for the growth of collaboration and innovation.

“The regional business forum is a space where ideas, opportunities, innovations, and real cooperation meet. Along with digital transformation and global challenges, this requires us to be more adaptive and take strategic steps,” said Harry.

He invited all HIPMI members to play an active role in driving economic development based on creativity and technology. In addition, strengthening the downstream sector, MSMEs, and sustainable industries is considered key to facing future economic dynamics.
