Governor farewells trainees

JAKARTA (JP): Vice Governor for Public Welfare Affairs R.S. Museno
yesterday bade farewell to 30 participants of the On The Job
Training Program, who are leaving for Tokyo. The ceremony took place
at City Hall.

The program is based on an agreement signed by the Jakarta city
administration and the Tokyo Metropolis Administration on May 31,
the Head of the Jakarta Manpower Office, Suhatman, said.

He said the program was aimed primarily at strengthening the
relationship between Jakarta and Tokyo.

"It is also intended to improve the work skills of those sent to
Tokyo under the program.", he added.(bas)
