Governor of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Melkiades Laka Lena officially appointed Yohanes Oktovianus as the Acting Regional Secretary of NTT on Tuesday (30/6/2026). He replaces Flouri Rita Wuisan, who has retired as a civil servant. Yohanes Oktovianus previously served as Assistant for General Administration of the NTT Regional Secretariat.

The handover of the Acting Appointment Decree took place at the Governor’s Office in NTT on (30/6/2026), conducted directly by Governor Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena, accompanied by Deputy Governor Johni Asadoma.

“Today I handed over the assignment order to carry out duties as Acting Regional Secretary of East Nusa Tenggara Province. Previously, this task was carried out by Mrs Flouri Rita Wuisan. Because she is entering retirement starting tomorrow, I entrust this mandate to Mr Yohanes Oktovianus as Acting Regional Secretary of NTT Province,” said Melki, accompanied by Deputy Governor Johni Asadoma.

Meanwhile, Yohanes requested support and prayers from all ranks of the NTT Provincial Government so that he can carry out the mandate properly. “I ask for prayers and support from all ranks so that I can carry out this task and responsibility well,” said Yohanes.

On the same occasion, Melki also handed over assignment orders to two officials within the NTT Provincial Secretariat. The two officials are the Acting Assistant for Economic and Development Affairs, assigned to the Governor’s Expert Staff for Economic and Development Affairs, Yusuf Lery Rupidara, and the Acting Head of the Leadership Administration Bureau of the NTT Regional Secretariat, Yohanes Abrianto Kore, who also serves as Head of the Protocol Section of the Leadership Administration Bureau of the NTT Regional Secretariat.

“The handover of these assignment orders is part of efforts to maintain the continuity of government administration and ensure the wheels of the organisation within the NTT Provincial Government continue to run effectively and optimally,” Melki emphasised.
