Governor: ANTARA backs the dissemination of development information in Central Kalimantan

Palangka Raya (ANTARA) — The Governor of Central Kalimantan, Agustiar Sabran, has praised the National News Agency LKBN ANTARA for its ongoing optimal support of the dissemination of development information, particularly in Central Kalimantan Province. “We are grateful for ANTARA’s support over the years through the dissemination of development information that educates the public, especially in Central Kalimantan,” Agustiar said in Palangka Raya on Friday. He made the remarks during a courtesy visit by Joko Susilo, Head of ANTARA’s Central Kalimantan Bureau, and colleagues at Istana Isen Mulang. He was accompanied by Rangga Lesmana, Acting Head of the Department of Communication, Informatics, Encryption and Statistics (Diskominfosantik). Agustiar hopes the good synergy that has been built so far can continue and be enhanced, so that information on various government activities and programmes can truly reach the public, including in remote areas. “Through the delivery of information that is accurate and relevant to government programmes and activities, we hope that field implementation can be better and free from misinformation or hoaxes. Together we build Central Kalimantan. The government cannot work alone without the support of various parties; let us synergise and collaborate,” he said. Meanwhile, Joko Susilo, Head of ANTARA’s Central Kalimantan Bureau, expressed appreciation for the warm reception from the Governor and his staff, who have also supported ANTARA in carrying out its duties and functions optimally. “We are ready to continue supporting and ensuring the success of development in Central Kalimantan, including through disseminating information and improving the quality of human resources, among other things, in line with our duties and functions,” he explained.
