Governor Andra Soni Promotes Banten Province as Investment Destination

Governor Andra Soni promoted Banten Province as an investment destination to entrepreneurs and alumni of the prestigious Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB). He introduced Banten as a strategic region with strong infrastructure and connectivity. “Banten Province is strategically positioned as the main gateway to Jakarta and international shipping routes,” Andra Soni stated at the Forge Ahead in Indonesia Co-building Golden Age Gala Dinner held at the Fairmont Hotel, Jalan Asia Afrika No. 8, Gelora, Jakarta, on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. The gala dinner was organised by the CKGSB Alumni Association of Indonesia. “The population of Banten Province has reached 13 million,” added Andra Soni. Banten Province has infrastructure and connectivity advantages to support smooth logistics. Additionally, it is supported by a network of toll roads, ports, and developing industrial zones. It is also one of the provinces included in President Prabowo Subianto’s downstreaming program. “As governor, I am open to opportunities and ready to facilitate investors partnering with Banten entrepreneurs,” he emphasised. Currently, Banten Province is a hub for steel and petrochemical industries. The provincial government is also promoting future industries such as electric vehicles and green industry. “We are continuously working to create a safe and comfortable investment climate,” Andra Soni stated.
