Government to Increase Cooperation with Private Sector
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The government is committed to increase cooperation with the private sectors in order to accelerate infrastructure development.
It is reported that the previous government did not reach the maximum level of such cooperation.
The Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Hatta Rajasa, during a coordinating meeting with officials at his ministry, said that financing schemes for the infrastructure development were important.
“Because the state budget could not cover it all,” he said, on Tuesday (27/10).
Because of this, the government is committed to encourage the private sector in the future as one source of financing.
Since Saturday last week, the government has held three coordinating meetings and one cabinet meeting to prepare the National Summit event that will be carried out on October 29-30.
Hatta explained that the meeting was to synchronize the government's programs in its first 100 days. “We made sure that each department pays attention,” he said.
