Government Targets National Implementation of B50 Biodiesel Starting 1 July

The government is targeting the implementation of the 50 per cent biodiesel blend (B50) policy across Indonesia, set to commence on 1 July. This follows a series of successful trials involving B50 usage in various sectors, including the automotive industry, maritime transport, agricultural machinery, mining equipment, railways, and power plants. Recent testing conducted at the B50 Road Test Blending and Refuelling Station in Lembang, West Bandung Regency, demonstrated positive results for the fuel blend’s performance.
