Government Secures Rp 32 Trillion from Government Bond Auction
The Ministry of Finance reported the results of the government bond auction held on Tuesday, 23 June 2026. Total incoming bids for this week’s auction reached Rp 55.08 trillion, an increase compared to the previous auction’s bids of Rp 46.5 trillion. Nine series of government bonds were offered. The Minister of Finance set the total nominal amount awarded from the nine series at Rp 32 trillion, according to an announcement on the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management’s website on Wednesday, 8 July 2026. The bonds auctioned consisted of short-term Treasury Bills and medium to long-term Fixed Rate bonds. The nine series auctioned were SPN01260808, SPN12261008, SPN12270708, FR0109, FR0108, FR0106, FR0107, FR0102, and FR0105. The highest incoming bids were for the FR0109 series, from which the government awarded Rp 11.5 trillion with a weighted average yield of 7.10442 percent. This series will mature on 15 March 2031. The weighted average yields awarded for the nine series ranged from 6.90000 percent to 7.35786 percent. The Rp 32 trillion absorption met the government’s initial target, while investor interest increased compared to the previous auction on 23 June 2026, where the government absorbed Rp 30 trillion from Rp 46.57 trillion in incoming bids.
