Government Reopens Applications for National Apprenticeship Programme Batch 3, Cohort II
The government, through the Ministry of Manpower, has reopened applications for prospective participants in the National Apprenticeship Programme (MagangHub) Batch 3, Cohort II, from 27 October to 4 November 2026.
During this period, prospective participants can also check their eligibility to ensure their information and qualifications meet the requirements before applying for apprenticeship positions.
Darmawansyah, Director General for Vocational Training and Productivity Development at the Ministry of Manpower, urged prospective participants to pay close attention to the requirements and schedule for each stage so they can take part in the selection process in accordance with the rules.
“Eligibility checks are an important step for prospective participants to ensure that their information matches the required criteria. We urge applicants to follow each stage according to the schedule so they can make the most of the opportunity to join the National Apprenticeship Programme Batch 3, Cohort II,” Darmawansyah said in an official statement on Monday (26 October).
Meanwhile, companies wishing to become programme partners can register until 29 October 2026. Applicants will undergo verification before being approved as programme partners.
The Ministry of Manpower will announce the companies approved as partners and publish apprenticeship vacancies on the MagangHub platform on 30 October 2026. Prospective participants can view the available vacancies and choose positions that match their qualifications and interests.
Applications for apprenticeship vacancies will then run from 31 October to 4 November 2026. This period overlaps with the final stage of eligibility checks, so prospective participants should observe the schedule and complete all required steps.
All registration and profile-checking processes are conducted online through the official portal at maganghub.kemnaker.go.id. Prospective participants can use the portal to find information about requirements, schedules and vacancies for National Apprenticeship Programme Batch 3, Cohort II.
Expanding employment opportunities
The National Apprenticeship Programme is a government initiative to expand opportunities for university graduates to gain direct work experience, develop their skills and prepare to enter the workforce.
The programme also helps match graduates’ skills with the needs of businesses and industry.
For 2026, the government aims to have 150,000 participants join the National Apprenticeship Programme. By the end of Batch 2, Cohort II, 87,122 participants had been selected: 46,160 in Batch 1 and 40,962 in Batch 2.
To help meet the target, the Ministry of Manpower has prepared around 70,000 company-provided apprenticeship vacancies for Batch 3. This is the number of vacancies on offer, not the number of participants who have passed the selection process.
The National Apprenticeship Programme’s Batch 3 is expected to expand opportunities for university graduates to gain work experience and improve their readiness to enter the labour market.
