Government Raises Company Registration Fees by Up to 233% Starting 1 August

The government has revised the non-tax state revenue (PNBP) tariffs for various services under the Ministry of Law. This revision is stipulated in Government Regulation (PP) Number 30 of 2026 concerning Types and Tariffs of PNBP. This regulation partially replaces the tariff provisions in PP Number 45 of 2024. It was signed by President Prabowo Subianto on 2 July 2026 and will come into effect on 1 August 2026, or 30 days after its enactment.

One of the highlighted changes in this PP is the tariff for establishing a limited liability company (PT). Under the new rule, the fee for establishing a PT with capital above Rp5 billion has increased to Rp5 million from the previous Rp1.5 million, representing a surge of approximately 233%. The cost for establishing a PT with capital above Rp5 billion has risen by Rp3.9 million to Rp5 million, an increase of around 354.5%.

Meanwhile, the tariff for establishing a PT with authorised capital of up to Rp25 million remains unchanged at Rp300,000 per application. Similarly, the fee for a PT with authorised capital between more than Rp25 million and up to Rp1 billion remains at Rp600,000.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Law has adjusted the fee for amending the articles of association without changing the company name, which has increased from Rp1 million to Rp1.1 million. Amendments to the articles of association accompanied by a name change have risen from Rp1.1 million to Rp1.2 million. The ministry has also simplified the tariff for notifications of changes to the articles of association or company data. Previously, the tariff ranged from Rp150,000 to Rp250,000 depending on the amount of capital. Under the new rule, the tariff is standardised at Rp250,000.
