Jakarta, VIVA – Several programmes implemented by President Prabowo Subianto’s administration are said to have a clear direction, particularly in strengthening national resilience from basic sectors such as food.

This was stated by the ‘Pro Prabowo’ volunteer group, or Probo. The Chairman of the Probo volunteer group, M Rizky Hidayatullah, highlighted the free nutritious meal programme, or MBG, which is considered not just food aid, but part of a long-term investment for the younger generation of Indonesia.

“Healthy children will be better prepared to learn, stronger, and have better life opportunities,” he said on Friday, 15 May 2026.

They reaffirmed their commitment to continue supporting various programmes of Prabowo, which are considered pro-people and oriented towards strengthening national independence.

The commitment was made in conjunction with the launch of the pro-prabo.com volunteer portal, held in the Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) area, Cikini, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

Rizky said that the presence of the portal is not just an ordinary information site, but is expected to be a space for communication and consolidation among volunteers in various regions.

“For us, this is not just a website, it is a shared space where volunteers can connect with each other, share information, express ideas, and even organise positive activities in the community,” he said.

Rizky added that Probo wants to build a more modern volunteer movement that does not only appear during political moments.

“We want today’s volunteer movement to be more modern, more creative, and more productive. Not only active during political moments, but also present in social, educational, humanitarian, and community empowerment activities,” he said.

He explained that Probo was born from the spirit of mutual cooperation since August 2023 and began to develop nationally since November 2024 with the support of volunteers from 11 provinces in Indonesia.

According to Rizky, support for the government does not have to be expressed through mere slogans, but through real work and maintaining a healthy public space.

“Probo wants to be present with a more positive approach. We may have different views, that is normal in a democracy. But let us not let differences make us forget that we are all still one nation,” he added.
