Government prepares new governance policy for natural resource exports

The Indonesian government is preparing a new governance policy regarding the export of natural resources. Following a coordination meeting held at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Monday (8/6/2026), officials discussed the implementation of new regulations. The primary objective of this coordination meeting was to synchronise the new natural resource export governance policies between the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
