The government has opened a public poll to select the logo for the 81st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day. Based on the curation results, five top logos have been chosen from 124 participants across all regions of Indonesia.

Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya confirmed that the curation process was conducted professionally, involving the Indonesian Graphic Designers Association (ADGI), resulting in the selection of the five best logos. This year marks the first time the logo selection has involved public participation, under the directive of President Prabowo Subianto.

“This year marks a new milestone in determining the Independence Day logo for the first time. Under the President’s direction, the public is actively involved in choosing the logo through a public polling mechanism,” Riefky told reporters at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Wednesday (24/6/2026).

The polling period runs from today until 28 June 2026. The public can cast their votes via the website https://logohutri.istanapresiden.go.id.

“From 24 to 28 June 2026, the public can participate in selecting the logo for the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia through the official channel prepared by the government, which will be launched shortly,” he stated.

The website features the five shortlisted logo designs. Riefky encouraged the public to take part in choosing the logo.

“The five best alternative logo designs will be announced for the public to choose from. This public involvement is important as a space for national participation, which, God willing, will foster a sense of ownership, so that the chosen logo truly becomes a symbol of pride for all Indonesian people,” he said.

“We invite all Indonesian people to actively participate in this poll as a representation of the nation’s spirit towards a sovereign, just, and prosperous Indonesia,” he added.
