Jakarta – The government has opened a public poll to choose the logo for the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, running from 24 to 28 June 2026. Following a curation process, five alternative designs have been shortlisted for the public to select from.

Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya stated during a press conference at the Presidential Palace complex in Central Jakarta on Wednesday that this year marks a new milestone in determining the Independence Day logo. For the first time, under the direction of the President, the public is being actively involved in the decision through a polling mechanism.

“The public can participate in choosing the 81st Independence Day logo through official channels prepared by the government,” he said.

Riefky explained that the poll is open from today until 28 June 2026 via the website https://logohutri.istanapresiden.go.id. He stressed that public involvement is crucial as a space for national participation, ensuring the selected logo truly becomes a symbol of pride for the Indonesian people.

He invited all Indonesians to take part in the poll, concluding that the chosen logo should represent the nation’s spirit towards a sovereign, just, and prosperous Indonesia.
