Jakarta — The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) records that the number of Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) with a Sertifikasi Laik Higiene Sanitasi (SLHS) continues to rise, reaching 55 percent. Based on BGN data as of 22 May 2026, the total number of operational SPPG stands at 29,225 units across Indonesia. Of these, 16,046 SPPG, or about 55 percent, have obtained the SLHS certification. ‘16,046 SPPG have an SLHS, or 55 percent of the total operational SPPG,’ states the BGN Performance Progress report, quoted by the Government Public Communications Agency of Indonesia on Saturday 23 May 2026.

From the same data, 2,646 SPPG are in the process of issuing the SLHS. Meanwhile, 10,533 SPPG are in the preparatory stage for the application for certification.

The government will also begin implementing a phased accreditation system for SPPG in 2026 with categories Excellent (A), Very Good (B), and Good (C).

As of the third week of May 2026, the total number of SPPG on suspension status is 1,152 units. The suspended SPPG may resume operations after improvements.

‘As of 19 May the number of suspended SPPG was 1,152, and 3,429 have resumed operations,’ the report added.

The government says warning letters were issued to SPPG judged not to meet infrastructure standards, lacking a Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL), or not having registered for SLHS.
