Government Not Complacent Despite High Public Satisfaction, Says Qodari

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Head of the Government Communications Agency (Bakom RI), Muhammad Qodari, stated that the government will not become complacent even though several surveys show high levels of public satisfaction and trust in President Prabowo Subianto’s administration.

Speaking in Jakarta on Tuesday, Qodari noted that the results of several surveys reflect the effectiveness of various programmes implemented by the government during almost two years of President Prabowo Subianto’s leadership.

“The 70 per cent figure is quite good, although we certainly will not become complacent. It remains valuable input for all of us,” he said.

He referred to the results of a Poltracking Indonesia survey, which showed that public trust in the Prabowo administration reached 74.2 per cent among ,1220 respondents, while the public satisfaction level stood at 72.2 per cent.

He assessed that public opinion surveys are also necessary as material for evaluating various programmes implemented by the government.

“I previously worked in a survey institution. Therefore, I deeply understand that surveys are necessary to serve as a reflection for all of us, allowing the government to see the responses and appreciation that the public provides for government programmes,” he said.

Qodari added that public support is a vital element for the government in executing various development programmes. According to him, such support serves as an incentive for the government to continue working towards improving conditions and increasing public welfare.
