Government Launches 'Transmigration Patriot' Programme to Develop 53 Regions

The government has introduced the ‘Transmigration Patriot’ programme for the development of 53 regions.

The Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, together with the Minister of Transmigration, Muhammad Iftitah Sulaiman Suryanagara, and the Deputy Minister of Manpower, Afriansyah Noor, presented information about the ‘Transmigration Patriot’ programme during the ‘Patriot Run’ event in the Bundaran HI area, Jakarta, on Sunday (17/5/2026). The event was held to promote the ‘2026 Transmigration Patriot Expedition Team’ programme, which will conduct research, studies, and provide support for development in 53 transmigration regions.
