Government Launches 0% Poverty Pocket Book, Here's What's Inside
The Office of the Presidential Staff (KSP) and the Government Communication Agency (Bakom RI) launched the pocket book ‘0% Poverty: Benefits and Recipients of the 2026 Welfare Support Programme’. This book contains 17 programmes from President Prabowo Subianto, which are expected to make it easier for the public to understand various government supports and ensure that every assistance is targeted correctly.
The press conference for the launch of the pocket book was held at the Bina Graha Building, Presidential Palace Complex, on Wednesday (8/4/2026). Those present at the launch included the Head of the Presidential Staff Muhammad Qodari, Head of the Government Communication Agency (Bakom) RI Angga Raka Prabowo, Special Assistant to the President for Communication and Policy Analysis Dirgayuza Setiawan, and General Chairman of the Indonesian Policy Analysts Association (AAKI)/Public Policy Observer Trubus Rahadiansah.
“The launch of this pocket book is part of President Prabowo’s government efforts to strengthen transparency and accountability. At the same time, it conveys policy information in a concise and easily understandable manner,” said Qodari.
Qodari explained that the book answers basic questions about what supports the people receive from the state and how to access them.
“Well, for the community or local governments whose residents have not yet received the assistance they should, hopefully by opening this book, they will know the reliable sources of information,” he stated.
Qodari explained that the book also contains the direction of Prabowo’s policies, which emphasises that welfare assistance is not just temporary. He assured that the assistance provided by the government will last a lifetime.
“The state is not only present when the people face difficulties, but also ensures that the people grow healthy, obtain education, work independently, and live prosperously in old age,” he said.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Government Communication Agency Angga Raka Prabowo welcomed the launch of this book. He hopes that this book will make it easier for the public to obtain information regarding government policies in eradicating poverty.
“We all work together to help in this matter, which is to convey information and also help our brothers and sisters who may not yet know how,” said Angga.
“For example, I don’t know how to go to the People’s School, I don’t know how I can get the PKH programmes. Because these programmes ensure that the state is present throughout life,” he added.
