Government Launches "0% Pocket Book" on Welfare Programme Achievements
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The government has launched the “0% Pocket Book: Benefits and Recipients of Welfare Support in 2026” to make it easier for the public to understand and access various government support programmes. Presidential Chief of Staff Muhammad Qodari stated during a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday that the 0% Pocket Book contains various government assistance programmes as an integrated whole for the people, facilitating public awareness and access to government support, and ensuring that every aid reaches the rightful recipients on target. “This book is presented to make it easier for the public to understand and access various government supports,” said Qodari. He explained that the book features lifelong welfare support, where the state is present in every phase of life through various programmes, starting from pregnancy to old age. “This book affirms the grand direction of President Prabowo’s programmes that welfare is not temporary assistance. Rather, it is ongoing support throughout life,” he added. The various programmes include the Family Hope Programme (PKH), staple goods assistance, electricity subsidies, business support, Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), Free Health Checks (CKG), People’s School, and premium assistance for the National Health Insurance (JKN). All these aids are integrated through the National Single Social and Economic Data (DTSEN). This integration is crucial to ensure that beneficiary data is increasingly accurate, programmes do not overlap, and assistance truly reaches those in need. “All 2026 welfare support programmes are built in an integrated and sustainable manner with direct impacts on the public. The state is not only present to provide support but also to prepare the foundation so that as many people as possible grow healthy, intelligent, productive, independent, and prosperous,” said Qodari.
