In a statement on Saturday, she highlighted Indonesia’s great potential in exporting professional services to the global market.

“Through a credible and sustainable partnership, we can offer more job opportunities for Indonesian workers, while strengthening our competitiveness in the services sector,” Esti noted.

On Tuesday (February 24), she witnessed the online signing of the MoU for the placement of 4,000 Indonesian workers in Germany between Aurelium Global Talent GmbH and PT Tenriawaru Elite Internasional in Jakarta.

This MoU opens opportunities for the placement of Indonesian workers in several strategic sectors in Germany, particularly hospitality, modern retail, and healthcare, and is part of an effort to strengthen Indonesian professional services exports in the global market.

The signing of this cooperation agreement is a follow-up to the Indonesian professional services trade mission to Berlin, Germany, previously conducted by the Ministry of Trade in collaboration with the Ministry of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers.

The trade mission provided a chance to strengthen Indonesia’s cooperation with Germany and other European countries in meeting the need for skilled labor in various strategic sectors.

Deputy Minister Esti stated that the professional services sector is a crucial driver of national export diversification.

Therefore, her office continues to encourage trade diplomacy and the promotion of services exports to expand market access for Indonesian service businesses globally.

Data shows a positive trend in the contribution of the Indonesian services sector abroad.

By 2025, Indonesia aims to place 296,948 Indonesian migrant workers in various countries.

In Germany alone, 204 Indonesian migrant workers have been deployed, including 164 healthcare professionals, mainly registered nurses.

She expressed gratitude to all stakeholders who supported the professional services trade mission in Berlin, noting that it paved the way for collaboration between Indonesian service providers and global partners.

“We hope this collaboration can be consistent, providing tangible benefits for all parties, while strengthening the services trade relationship between Indonesia and Germany,” she remarked.
