Government Hikes Tariff for Export Document
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: Trade ministry hiked tariff for export document by 400 percent which effectively starts on August 1.
In a release by the Trade Ministry on Friday, Minister Mari Elka Pangestu said “the previous tarrif for every issuance of certificate of origins for export commodities has been revoked and declared ineffective.”
Exporters will be charged Rp5,000 per document from the previous Rp1,000 per document.
The new regulation was included in the Trade Minister Regulation no 31 of 2009 on Certificate of origin for Indonesian export goods, an ammendment to the previous regulation of Trade and Cooperative Minister no.155 KPT/IV of 1980.
