Government Ensures Fuel Supply for the Little People

Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia has emphasised that the Indonesian government prioritises maintaining the supply of subsidised fuel oil (BBM) for low-income citizens. In accordance with President Prabowo’s directives, policies regarding subsidised fuel always take into account the conditions of the public. “The President, in making policies, always considers and prioritises the conditions of the public,” Bahlil explained, quoted from the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube on Tuesday (31/3/2026). “Insha Allah, following the President’s directives on subsidised fuel up to now, I believe the President has a heart for caring about the small people; trust me, just wait for the D-day,” Bahlil stated. “What we are focusing on concerns the subsidies; as I said earlier, wait for the D-day, Insha Allah it will be good,” Bahlil emphasised.
