Government Claims Apple Investment in Indonesia Proceeding as Planned
The government claims that Apple's investment in Indonesia, particularly in Batam, is proceeding according to plan. Apple has even promised to double its investment in the country.
This was conveyed by Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani during a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday, 29 April 2025.
"Apple has already purchased land in Batam. Land clearing and other preparations are already underway. So the investment is continuing as planned," said Rosan.
According to Rosan, Apple's investment in Indonesia has the potential to increase further.
