The Ministry of Finance will auction nine series of short and long-term government bonds (SUN) today, Tuesday (7/7/2026), to meet part of the financing target in the 2026 State Budget. The indicative target for the auction is Rp32 trillion, with a maximum target of 150% of the indicative target, or Rp48 trillion. The auction is conducted based on the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 168/PMK.08/2019 concerning the Auction of Government Bonds in the Domestic Primary Market. The auction will open at 09.00 WIB and close at 11.00 WIB, with settlement scheduled for 9 July 2026. The long-term SUN are Government Bonds (ON), including series FR0109 (Reopening) with a 5.875% coupon maturing on 15 March 2031, FR0108 (Reopening) with a 6.5% coupon maturing on 15 April 2036, FR0106 (Reopening) with a 7.125% coupon maturing on 15 August 2040, FR0107 (Reopening) with a 7.125% coupon maturing on 15 August 2045, FR0102 (Reopening) with a 6.875% coupon maturing on 15 July 2054, and FR0105 (Reopening) with a 6.875% coupon maturing on 15 July 2064. The appointed primary dealers for this auction include Citibank N.A., Deutsche Bank AG, PT Bank HSBC Indonesia, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk, PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk, PT Bank Panin Tbk, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk, PT Bank Permata Tbk, PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk, PT Bank ANZ Indonesia, Standard Chartered Bank, JP Morgan Chase Bank N.A., PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas, PT Mandiri Sekuritas, PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk, and PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. The Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) and Bank Indonesia (BI) are also included as auction participants. The sale of SUN will be conducted using an auction system organised by Bank Indonesia. The auction is open and uses a multiple price method. Winning bidders who submit competitive bids will pay according to the yield they proposed, while those submitting non-competitive bids will pay the weighted average yield of the winning competitive bids. The government has the right to sell the nine SUN series in amounts greater or smaller than the indicative target. Each SUN unit has a nominal value of Rp1,000,000. In principle, all parties, both individual and institutional investors, may submit purchase bids in the auction, but bids must be submitted through auction participants as stipulated in the regulation.
