Government Assures Sufficient Energy Supply in Central Java During Eid al-Fitr
Yuliot revealed that the current national fuel oil reserves are above the minimum level, with stocks reaching approximately 28 days, sufficient to meet public needs during the homecoming and Eid al-Fitr period. “So (the fuel) isn’t running out from use, but when there are further deliveries from refineries, and then imports, we certainly maintain overall energy resilience,” said Yuliot during his inspection of energy facilities at Rest Area 379 A, Semarang-Batang Toll Road, Central Java, as quoted from an official statement in Jakarta on Thursday. That visit, Yuliot stated, is part of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources’ efforts to ensure energy infrastructure readiness ahead of the surge in public mobility. In agreement, the Head of the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Body (BPH Migas) Wahyudi Anas stated that fuel preparations are in very sufficient condition during the Ramadan period and facing Eid al-Fitr in 2026. Fuel distribution services to the public, he said, are also running smoothly. “Central Java Province is one of the main national homecoming destinations. BPH Migas ensures that fuel stocks can meet public needs throughout the Eid al-Fitr holiday period,” said Wahyudi. Pertamina MOR IV Semarang’s fuel stock resilience as of 18 March 2026 shows very adequate coverage days for Pertalite and Solar. Meanwhile, for Pertamax it is 30.7 days, Pertamina Dex 42.1 days, and Avtur 38.5 days. “We ensure all facilities and infrastructure are in a ready position. Insya Allah, fuel services will be safe and controlled so that the public can enjoy the Eid holiday comfortably,” he said. Present at the inspection were Member of the BPH Migas Committee and also Chair of the ESDM Ramadan & Eid al-Fitr 2026 Sector Post Erika Retnowati, Director General of Oil and Gas KESDM Laode Sulaeman, Member of the National Energy Council Satya Widya Yudha, Secretary of BPH Migas Patuan Alfon S, Director of Earth Gas BPH Migas Muhiddin, Acting Director of Fuel Nuryanti Wijayanti, President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga Mars Ega Legowo, and Director of Retail and Trading PLN Adi Priyanto.
