Government and Industry Collaborate to Strengthen AI-Based Cybersecurity

Cyber threats are now evolving far more complexly alongside the massive adoption of AI-based technology. Collaboration between government, industry, and all stakeholders is key to building a resilient and trustworthy national cybersecurity ecosystem.

This was emphasised by Sulistyo, Deputy for Government Cyber Security & Crypto & Human Resource Development at the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN RI). “We welcome the National Cybersecurity Connect initiative as a strategic platform to strengthen this synergy,” he said in an official statement on Thursday (6/8).

Cybersecurity is a crucial foundation for the sustainability of Indonesia’s digital creative economy. Through National Cybersecurity Connect (NCC) 2026, Rian Firmansyah, Special Adviser to the Minister of Creative Economy for Strategic Issues and Inter-Institutional Affairs, expressed hope for closer collaboration between creative economy actors, the technology industry, and other stakeholders in building a secure and competitive digital ecosystem.

“NCC 2026 is a manifestation of our commitment to continue serving as a bridge for collaboration between government, industry, and the cybersecurity community in Indonesia. Entering its fifth edition, we want NCC to be not only a forum for sharing insights but also a business platform that produces tangible collaboration for strengthening national cyber resilience,” added Aditya Adiguna, President Director of Naganaya Indonesia.

PT Naganaya Indonesia Internasional, together with the National Association of Information and Communication Technology Entrepreneurs (Aptiknas), held the soft launch of NCC 2026 in Jakarta. The event marked the start of the series leading up to NCC 2026, the annual cybersecurity conference now in its fifth edition, which will take place on 28-29 October 2026 in Jakarta.
