The government has allocated Rp3 billion for official business travel expenses for the Presidential Staff Office (KSP). This budget amount remains unchanged on an annual basis.

This statement was delivered by the Chief of Staff of the Presidency, Dudung Abdurrachman, during a working meeting with Commission XIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) at the DPR Building, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday, 3 June 2026.

He explained that the KSP received an initial budget ceiling for 2025 of Rp108,284,689,000 before efficiency measures were applied. Following these adjustments, the budget was reduced to approximately Rp90 billion.

“This budget is allocated for programmes providing services to the President and Vice President, as well as KSP management support programmes through the end of 2025,” said Dudung.

“Budget realisation has reached Rp87.5 billion, or 96.57 per cent of the total usable ceiling,” he added.

Meanwhile, for 2026, the initial budget ceiling received by the KSP was Rp35.1 billion. Dudung noted that this amount was subsequently increased by Rp79.3 billion, in accordance with the Ministry of Finance Letter Number S-82/MK.02/2026 dated 6 May 2026.

“Consequently, the total budget allocation for 2026 stands at Rp114.51 billion,” Dudung revealed.

Dudung further clarified that Rp3 billion of the total budget is specifically allocated for KSP’s official business travel.

“From that ceiling, Rp3 billion is the budget for KSP’s official travel. This is per year, Sir, Rp3 billion. This has already been discussed with colleagues from Commission XIII,” he explained.
