The government has allocated a budget of Rp100.1 trillion for the recovery of disaster-affected regions in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, accompanied by Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian, Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Lieutenant General TNI Suharyanto, TNI Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General TNI Richard Taruli H. Tampubolon, and task force member Brigadier General Pol Yoppie Indra Prasetya, announced the funding at a press conference in Jakarta on Thursday (18/6). The Steering Committee for the Task Force on the Acceleration of Post-Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction in Sumatra-Aceh stated that the budget will be rolled out in three stages: Rp38.9 trillion in 2026, Rp32.9 trillion in 2027, and Rp28.2 trillion in 2028, to support recovery across various affected sectors.
