The Government, through Danantara Indonesia, held the Danantara Technology Innovation & Investment Forum (DTIIF) 2026 in the Senayan area of Jakarta from 26 to 28 October 2026.

The forum featured strategic discussions, a technology exhibition, presentations on investment opportunities and business-matching sessions connecting industry players with prospective partners and investors.

DTIIF 2026 aimed to bring together industry leaders, global investors, technology companies, research institutions, academics, and representatives of the Government and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) to explore technology-based investment and partnership opportunities.

One of the participating SOEs was the PTPN III (Persero) Plantation Holding Company, which showcased processed palm-oil oleochemical products as an area with potential for downstream development in plantation commodities.

PTPN III Business Director Ryanto Wisnuardhy said the company’s participation was part of PTPN Group’s efforts to strengthen innovation, technology development and strategic collaboration in transforming the national plantation industry.

PTPN Group’s participation in the forum reflected its commitment to increasing the added value of plantation commodities through downstream industry development supported by innovation and technology.

“Through this forum, we want to expand opportunities for collaboration in technology development, innovation and investment,” Ryanto said in a statement on Wednesday (28 October 2026).

DTIIF 2026 also gave PTPN Group the opportunity to broaden its network of stakeholders, including industry players and technology providers, to support the development of more innovative and competitive business models.

Alongside downstream processing, Ryanto said technological innovation was an important aspect of PTPN Group’s transformation. Technology is expected to help improve productivity, operational efficiency and product quality, while strengthening the company’s competitiveness amid global industry developments.

He said PTPN Group’s involvement in the technology and investment forum was part of the company’s efforts to adapt to industry developments and seize new business growth opportunities.

“By strengthening collaboration and opening up investment opportunities, we hope PTPN Group’s transformation will make an increasingly significant contribution to the national economy,” he said.
