A stretch of land covering more than 12 hectares in the Pakis Aji area of Jepara has become a key point in the government’s effort to deliver integrated education services. As part of the response to the accelerated development of the Integrated National School (SNT), Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu’ti personally inspected the location projected to become the SNT zone in Jepara Regency on Friday (31/7).

The visit formed part of the government’s commitment to ensuring every stage of construction is carried out on the basis of accurate field data. Before work begins, the government is conducting comprehensive verification and validation of the proposed site, covering land legality, spatial planning, physical conditions, accessibility, basic infrastructure and development readiness.

The Minister stressed that building the SNT is not only about physical construction, but also about ensuring the schools built genuinely provide quality education services for the community.

“We want to make sure every location chosen is truly ready to be developed. The SNT must be built on sound planning, with legal certainty, supported by adequate infrastructure, and capable of becoming a centre of quality education services. That is why we are inspecting this site directly, as part of accelerating construction while ensuring the entire process meets the standards that have been set,” the Minister said.

Field verification previously carried out on 26–28 July 2026 by the Education Quality Assurance Centre of Central Java Province showed that the proposed site is in principle suitable for development into an Integrated National School. The available land covers 12.30 hectares, with an effective buildable area of 9.95 hectares. The relatively gentle topography is considered supportive of construction, requiring only limited land-preparation work.

In terms of spatial planning, the site has already obtained a Spatial Use Activity Suitability Approval (KKPR) from the Jepara Regency Government. Access to the site is also deemed adequate to support construction mobilisation and the school’s future operations. Basic infrastructure such as the electricity network is available in the surrounding area, while clean water provision and the completion of environmental documents will form part of the next planning stage.

Through this careful and objective verification process, the government wants to ensure the SNT development is on target and sustainable. The presence of the SNT is expected to strengthen the national education ecosystem while broadening public access to quality, integrated education services relevant to future needs.
