The management of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) has responded to the stock price dynamics following the implementation of a new policy by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), which officially lowered the floor price in the Regular Market and Cash Market from Rp50 to Rp1 per share, effective Monday, 28 September 2026.
GoTo’s Head of Corporate Affairs, Audrey Petriny, emphasised that the company’s share price on the first day of this new policy does not reflect the business fundamentals, which continue to strengthen. “Today’s share price is more influenced by technical aspects following the new Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) regulation that sets the lower price limit no longer at Rp50,” she stated in an official statement on Monday (28/9/2026).
She explained that GoTo’s business performance continues to show positive growth. In the second quarter of 2026, the company recorded a net profit of Rp252 billion, marking a profit for two consecutive quarters. Net revenue was recorded at Rp5.7 trillion, while adjusted EBITDA reached more than Rp1 trillion.
“We also remain on track to achieve our full-year adjusted EBITDA guidance of Rp3.2-3.4 trillion. We remain focused on strengthening business performance, which we believe will create long-term value for shareholders,” she said.
Previously, GoTo also announced one of its commitments to increasing shareholder value, with the company planning to cancel more than 32 billion treasury shares, equivalent to approximately 2.7% of the total outstanding shares. In carrying out the cancellation of treasury shares, the Company will comply with applicable laws and regulations and seek approval from shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on 14 October.
