GoTo Responds to Danantara Share Ownership Issue

The management of PT Goto Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) has responded to the issue regarding the share ownership of the Badan Pengelola Investasi Daya Anagata Nusantara (Danantara) in the ride-hailing application company. According to management, Danantara has purchased a number of the company’s shares amounting to less than 1 percent.

Koesoemohadiani stated that the company always complies with reporting obligations regarding share ownership. She explained that since March 2026, the company has submitted Share Ownership Reports to the Indonesia Stock Exchange, which include information on shareholders holding between 1 percent and 5 percent of the company’s shares.

GoTo also responded to Presidential Regulation Number 27 of 2026 on the Protection of Online Transport Workers. According to Koesoemohadiani, the company is still awaiting a copy and further information on the regulation. “As an Indonesian company, the company will always support various efforts to continue providing sustainable benefits to all of the company’s driver partners,” she said.

Meanwhile, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming, also CEO of Danantara, Rosan Roeslani, stated that Danantara’s entry as an investor is part of the government’s strategy to improve the welfare of ojol partners. He noted that the investment process is being carried out gradually and has been underway since early 2026.
