GoTo Records Net Profit for the First Time
PT GOTO Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) recorded a net profit for the first time in the first quarter of this year. GoTo’s net profit in the first quarter of 2026 was recorded at Rp 171 billion, up from a net loss of Rp 367 billion in the same period the previous year.
“This achievement of net profit for the first time in GoTo’s history is an important moment for us,” said GoTo Group CEO Hans Patuwo in an official statement, quoted on Wednesday, 29 April 2026. He said GoTo is in a good position to face the current global situation.
The company recorded a 22% year-on-year growth in Annual Transaction Users (ATU) for the Group to 69 million. Meanwhile, net revenue grew 26% annually to Rp 5.3 trillion, in line with the 65% year-on-year growth in core Group GTV to Rp 138 trillion. Meanwhile, total GTV rose to Rp 236 trillion, or an increase of 63% annually.
Furthermore, the adjusted Group EBITDA reached Rp 907 billion, up 131% year-on-year. The company also recorded positive adjusted free cash flow of Rp 1.3 trillion. Meanwhile, the company’s e-commerce service fees from PT Tokopedia amounted to Rp 288 billion.
GoTo Group CFO Simon Ho added that revenue growth significantly outpaced cost growth in both fintech and on-demand services businesses. “Our service costs have also decreased as our technology and artificial intelligence strategies begin to bear fruit,” he said.
