PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), the technology holding company behind Gojek and GoPay, delivered a positive performance in the second quarter of 2026. GOTO recorded a net profit of Rp 252 billion, reversing a Rp 375 billion loss in the same period last year.

In its results presentation on Wednesday (29 July 2026), GOTO’s management explained that the achievement in Q2 2026 continued the positive trend from Q1 2026, when it posted a net profit of Rp 171 billion.

“We have delivered net profits for two consecutive quarters, with adjusted Group EBITDA more than doubling compared to the previous year, surpassing the Rp 1 trillion mark for the first time,” said GOTO Chief Executive Officer Hans Patuwo in a press release on Wednesday (29 July 2026).

Hans added that GOTO’s financial technology (fintech) business continued to show strong growth. In fact, the profitability of that business has now surpassed the on-demand services segment.

“This demonstrates the strength and balance of our ecosystem,” he added.

GOTO’s ecosystem also grew rapidly, as evidenced by annual transacting users (ATUs) rising 19% year-on-year to 71 million, while core GTV grew 83% year-on-year to Rp 164 trillion.

GOTO maintained its full-year adjusted Group EBITDA target in the range of Rp 3.2 trillion to Rp 3.4 trillion, while raising the performance target for its fintech business, which has continued to record outstanding results.

In addition to presenting its financial performance, GOTO announced plans to buy back approximately 32 billion treasury shares, equivalent to around 2.7% of total shares outstanding. In carrying out the treasury share buyback, GOTO will comply with applicable regulatory requirements and seek approval from its shareholders.

GOTO will provide further information, including the announcement and convening of a General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS), once all preparations have been completed.
