GoTo Posts Net Profit for Third Consecutive Quarter
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Technology company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) ended another quarter in profit. In the third quarter of 2026, it posted a net profit of Rp441 billion, extending its run of quarterly profits to three consecutive quarters.
Business growth accompanied the result. Net revenue rose 17% year on year to Rp5.6 trillion, while core gross transaction value (GTV) surged 89% to Rp194 trillion.
The number of transacting users also increased. Annual transacting users (ATU) reached 72.5 million, up 16% year on year.
Meanwhile, the Group’s adjusted EBITDA rose 84% year on year to Rp950 billion. This figure includes the impact of an 8% commission on two-wheeler transport services for a full quarter.
“These results were achieved amid various challenges over the past few months,” GoTo President Director Hans Patuwo said on Thursday (29 October 2026).
The third quarter of 2026 was the first full quarter in which the commission was applied, with management describing its impact as significant.
GoTo also recorded adjusted Group free cash flow of Rp1.21 trillion, up 389% year on year. In the same quarter, Tokopedia’s e-commerce service fees reached Rp235 billion.
“On this occasion, we are also announcing that GOTO will raise its 2026 adjusted EBITDA target to Rp3.5–3.7 trillion. The previous target was in the range of Rp3.2–3.4 trillion,” Hans said.
Fintech was the main driver of the higher EBITDA target, after its performance continued to exceed expectations. The adjusted EBITDA guidance for fintech has been raised to Rp1.9–2.0 trillion from Rp1.7–1.8 trillion.
On-Demand Services (ODS) is also beginning to grow, and its adjusted EBITDA guidance range has been widened to Rp1.4–1.6 trillion from Rp1.4–1.5 trillion.
In setting its ODS target range, GoTo also took into account potential future regulations, including implementing rules for delivery services from the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs.
For January–September 2026, GoTo’s net revenue reached Rp16.5 trillion, up 24% year on year, while net profit was Rp864 billion. The company had recorded a loss of Rp997 billion in the corresponding nine-month period a year earlier.
Separately, GoTo has secured shareholder approval to cancel 32 billion treasury shares.
The cancellation will take effect in two to three months, once all required regulatory procedures have been completed. As a result, the ownership percentage of each existing shareholder will increase proportionally.
GoTo also repurchased 36 billion shares, spending Rp985 billion. It has Rp2.5 trillion remaining in unused buyback funds.
