GoTo Ensures Driver-Partner Income Remains Stable After 8 Per Cent Ojek Online Commission Rule
GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo) ensures driver-partner earnings remain safeguarded after the ride-hailing commission rule of 8 percent is implemented. The move aligns with GoTo’s commitment to support President Prabowo Subianto’s direction regarding profit-sharing schemes for two-wheeled online transportation services. Previously, under Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 27 of 2026, driver commissions were set at 92 percent, while the platform’s share was eight percent. GoTo said the profit-sharing scheme adjustment would be made in accordance with government guidance. This will affect the company’s revenue component from the two-wheeled online transport service GoRide. Balancing driver income stability with consumer order volumes is a key focus for GoTo in responding to the President’s directive.
