Jakarta — PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk has partnered with the Ministry of Transport to facilitate free homecoming travel for Gojek driver partners and their families. This initiative aligns with the strategic approach of the Ministry of Transport in mobilising passenger flows in a more organised manner.

Approximately 4,000 Gojek driver partners and family members departed from Pulogebang Terminal bound for their hometowns. Under the free homecoming programme called GoMudik, participants can return to five destinations: Kuningan, Semarang, Surabaya, Lampung, and Palembang.

“The high demand for homecoming tickets sometimes presents a challenge for our driver partners. We are therefore grateful to be able to work with the Ministry of Transport to deliver this free homecoming programme for driver partners. Through GoMudik, we wish to support our driver partners in reuniting with their families in a calm, safe, and comfortable manner,” said GoTo Chief Executive Officer Hans Patuwo at Pulogebang Terminal on Friday afternoon.

The GoMudik send-off event was attended by Agus H. Yudhoyono, the Co-ordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, who praised GoTo’s commitment to supporting driver partners in reuniting with their families.

“Driver partners are once again extraordinary champions. Truly extraordinary. We are all indebted to you, one might say, because without ride-hailing services, we would all surely find our daily lives more difficult. Hopefully this homecoming journey will also be blessed with smooth travels and safety, with loved ones waiting for us in our hometowns,” said Agus on the same occasion.

In addition to distributing the recent Hari Raya Bonus, GoTo has expanded worker protections through free access to BPJS Health and BPJS Employment Insurance since December 2025, alongside development initiatives such as the Gojek Partner Job Exchange, scholarship programmes for partners and their families, and the Gojek Partner Self-Reliance Business Programme to create opportunities for partners to enhance their capacity and increase additional income.
