Gorontalo Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to Discuss Journalistic Integrity at Journalists' Forum

Darilaut – The head of the Gorontalo Province Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights is planned to discuss journalistic integrity at the 2026 Journalists’ Forum. The event is initiated by five constituent organisations of the Indonesian Press Council: the Indonesian Cyber Media Association (SMSI), the Indonesian Cyber Media Network (AMSI), the Indonesian Cyber Media Network (JMSI), the Indonesian Television Journalists Association (IJTI), and the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI). The head of the Gorontalo Kanwil Kemenkum, Raymond J.H. Takasenseran, said the activity is expected to be a space for collaboration for journalists in producing informative and trustworthy information. “I support the 2026 Journalists’ Forum in Gorontalo,” Raymond said, when receiving the organising committee’s audience, Thursday (21 May). “May this event become a platform for strong collaboration in presenting accurate and trustworthy information for the public.” The Journalists’ Forum is planned to run for two days, 12–13 June 2026, at Wombohe Jurnalis, Jalan Taman Hiburan II, Gorontalo City. This activity will not only involve journalists but also students as participants. The support from the Gorontalo Kanwil Kemenkum is seen as part of efforts to strengthen journalists’ capacity and develop a professional regional media ecosystem.
