Gorontalo Hajj Pilgrims from Makassar Embarkation Prepare for Stoning Ritual
Hajj pilgrims from Gorontalo province, part of Kloters 28 and 30 from Makassar Embarkation, are preparing to perform the stoning of jumrah at Ula, Wustha, and Aqabah.
The stoning ritual takes place over two to three days in Mina after midday.
“We have just completed the Fajr prayer. Insha’Allah, at 10 am Saudi time, or 3 pm WITA on Wednesday, all pilgrims will perform the jumrah stoning,” said Ali Lihawa, leader of Group 19 for Kloter 30 from North Gorontalo, Gorontalo Province.
He stated that the 393 members of Kloter 30 are now in Mina’s tents after completing the Wukuf ceremony at Arafah.
“All have performed the rituals smoothly and are in good health,” he said.
“Alhamdulillah, all Kloter 28 pilgrims from Makassar Embarkation have completed the Wukuf at Arafah, including the elderly,” he added.
He added that pilgrims are currently preparing for the stoning ritual, with no cases requiring clinic or hospital treatment reported.
“We are deeply grateful for the successful completion of all rituals thus far, with all pilgrims in good health. We hope the remaining rites proceed smoothly,” he said.
