Gordon Max shows new collections

Singapore-based jeweler Gordon Max introduced new Fall and Winter collections of its lab-grown diamonds in a fashion show at Circa restaurant, Wisma BNI 46, in Central Jakarta on Tuesday.

The jeweler, which recently opened its first store in Dharmawangsa Square, South Jakarta, displayed the diamonds of various types and designs, including necklaces, earing and rings.

Produced in laboratories in Austria and Germany, the diamonds, which are quite difficult to differentiate from natural diamonds, are currently very popular among women here due to their affordability.

For example, the price of a carat of lab-produced diamond is Rp 1.5 million while the price of a carat of natural diamond can reach US$16,000.
